The Royal You
The Royal You is an exciting new collaboration between singer-songwriter, actress, and playwright Kate Ferber and singer-songwriter Jake Snider. Kate’s one-woman show One Child Born: The Music of Laura Nyro, caught the attention of Eric Bazilian of The Hooters, and he suggested they get together. The result is musical magic.
The multi-talented duo has achieved great things already. Kate recently starred in Ghost Brothers Of Darkland County, a new musical with music and lyrics by John Mellencamp, book by Stephen King, and musical direction by T-Bone Burnett. In 2011, Jake performed alongside The Civil Wars at the BMI/Billboard Acoustic showcase at South by Southwest, and was named one of Philly's Best New Artists by Helen Leicht of 88.5 WXPN. Oh, and did we tell you he’s still in college? …and Kate won the ASCAP Foundation Desmond Child Anthem Award. Their extraordinary vocals, stage presence and distinctive songwriting make a performance by these rising young stars an experience you won’t want to miss.
